When I first started talking to Doreen again, I knew I would pursue a romantic relationship, but I wanted to be her friend, first and foremost. I lost sight of that somewhere along the way; all I could think about was how happy she made me feel. Things went too fast with way too much intensity.

 

Hopefully, I’ll be able to get over what happened and get back to what I originally set out to do. I should take things easy. I just want to be her friend.
